Support practical pathways into recovery, harm reduction, peer support, transportation, treatment access and the everyday needs that help people keep going.
Useful technology should leave the world better.
Stitch River is being built to simplify digital life, keep meaningful core access available, and turn business success into practical help for people dealing with addiction, people in recovery, families trying to stay housed, people who need food, and communities doing the work.
First, Stitch River pays the real costs required to keep the service alive, secure and useful. After those core operating costs are covered, we intend to direct at least 10% of remaining net surplus toward recovery, housing stability, food access and related direct-help work. Ten percent is the floor, not the ceiling. As the company becomes sustainable, the goal is to give more.
Help people move toward safe housing and the basic stability that makes recovery, parenting, work and rebuilding a life more possible.
Our long-term ambition is global: use technology, community and creator revenue to contribute meaningfully toward ending hunger and make basic help easier to reach. We will measure what we actually do instead of pretending one company can solve it alone.
We want a sustainable company and a modest life, not an extractive one. Pay the bills, keep the product healthy, take care of the people doing the work, then put more of the upside back into people and communities.
Impact should be visible. We will maintain an impact ledger for verified distributions, amounts, categories and supporting evidence wherever it can be shared safely. If the ledger says zero, that means zero — no invented impact numbers.
Members and supporters can choose to be publicly recognized by name, stay anonymous, or change their preference later. We can send badges, acknowledgements and awards without turning gratitude into pressure.
We want to reward creators who make genuinely useful content and bring real users into Stitch River. Paid partnerships should use clear terms, measured attribution and honest disclosure — never fake endorsements or hidden sponsorships.
Tommy Tree will share the story behind Stitch River openly and let the work be judged by what the company builds, gives, publishes and improves over time.
